We use authentic materials like news articles, podcasts, videos, and literature to practice the four key skills: speaking about current topics, writing meaningful texts, interpreting messages, and translating ideas accurately. Translation as a Strategic Tool: We use your own language as a smart bridge to Spanish. Translation helps us understand nuances, avoid common errors (false friends), and accelerate your grasp of complex concepts. Sample Class Structure (60 minutes) The goal is for you to actively use the language from the very first minute. A typical class on a current event would look like this: Conversation and Warm-up (10 min): We start with a chat in Spanish about the topic of the day to activate your fluency and vocabulary. Content Analysis (20 min): We read an article or watch a short video. First, we focus on interpreting the main message. Then, we analyze key vocabulary and the most important grammatical structures together. Skills Workshop (20 min): Here, you apply what you've learned: Speaking: We discuss the ideas presented in the article. Writing: You draft a short paragraph expressing your opinion.
