Soy un profesor paciente, atento, cariñoso, amigable y conocedor a la que le encanta divertirse, ¡pero sabe cuándo ponerse serio! Los estudiantes pueden esperar sentirse más seguros acerca de su inglés incluso después de una sola sesión de clase. Mis alumnos me dicen que tengo un toque especial a la hora de corregir errores y rápidamente desarrollamos un nivel de confianza que mejora mucho el ambiente de aprendizaje.
¡En nuestra clase es bueno cometer errores! Esa es la mejor manera de aprender. Si un estudiante comete un error conmigo, ¡obtendrá un punto extra! Ese es el tipo de profesor que soy.
Para mí, la relación entre alumno y profesor tiene que ver con la confianza. Para establecer esto, trato de ser amable, y compasivo. Soy un profe que corrige con un toque gentil. Luego, incluso los estudiantes más reservados parecen calentarse en cuestión de minutos.
Entonces, ¿cuál es mi historia? Viví la mayor parte de mi vida en Estados Unidos hasta que vine a México a vivir mis sueños. Aquí comencé un nuevo camino y me convertí en docente. Por supuesto, amo y extraño a Estados Unidos, pero México ha sido amable conmigo y amo el estilo de vida y la cultura aquí. Estos días, cuando no estoy enseñando, disfruto del tiempo con mi encantadora esposa y mis dos hermosas hijas. De hecho, ¡la vida es buena!
Claramente, lograr tus objetivos académicos puede cambiar tu vida para mejor. Todo lo que he logrado ha sido posible gracias a que terminé mis estudios, tuve un buen inglés y aprendí un nuevo idioma: ¡español! Sé lo que es aprender un nuevo idioma y vivir en otro país. Por eso siento que tengo una conexión especial con mis alumnos.
Mis habilidades se pueden aplicar no solamente a estudiantes de ESL, sino también a hablantes nativos de inglés. Si sus objetivos son mejorar la lectura, la gramática, la expresión oral, la comprensión auditiva o la escritura, deberíamos hablar.
Tengo estrategias de escritura para cada tipo de escritura, desde nivel principiante hasta avanzado, e incluso puedo ayudar con la redacción del examen de ingreso a la universidad, como el "Personal Essay". Asimismo, si necesitas prepararte para un examen como TOEFL, IELTS, SAT o Cambridge, ¡soy tu hombre!

I'm a caring, friendly, and knowledgeable teacher who loves to have fun, but knows when to get serious! Students can expect to feel more confident about their English even after just one class session. My students tell me that I have a special touch when it comes to correcting mistakes, and we quickly develop a level of trust that greatly improves the learning atmosphere.
In our classroom, it's good to make mistakes! That's the best way to learn. If a student makes a mistake with me, he or she gets an extra point! That's the kind of teacher I am.
Besides that, I'm known as a patient, caring, and knowledgeable teacher who loves to have fun, but knows when to get serious! Students can expect to feel more confident about their chosen subject even after just one class session.
For me, the relationship between student and teacher is all about trust. To establish this, I try to be kind, compassionate, and correct with a gentle touch. Then, even the most reserved students seem to warm up within minutes.
So, what's my story? I lived most of my life in the United States until I came to Mexico to live out my dreams. Here, I started on a new path, and became a teacher. Of course, I love and miss the United States, but Mexico has been kind to me, and I love the lifestyle and culture here. These days, when I'm not teaching, I enjoy time with my lovely wife and two beautiful daughters. Indeed, life is good!
Clearly, achieving your academic goals can change your life for the better. Everything I have achieved has been made possible by my finishing my studies, having good English, and learning a new language -- Spanish! I know what it's like to learn a new language, and live in another country. Because of that, I feel that I have a special connection with my students.

Soy un ex periodista certificado por TEFL (Universidad de Kansas) dedicado a ayudar a estudiantes de todo el mundo. I started teaching ESL in Mexico in 1999, and have taught in traditional classrooms for 20 years. These days, most of my work is online. I'm a TEFL certified former journalist (The University of Kansas) dedicated to helping students from around the world.
