Acerca de Alonso
I am Alonso Rojas, born in Xalapa, Veracruz, and currently residing in CDMX. I hold a degree in Literature and Philosophy from IBERO Puebla, with a deep passion for literature, history, and philosophy. I specialize in historical linguistics and grammar, areas that complement my interest in language learning.
I have been studying and speaking English for 20 years, learned Latin using the naturalistic method, and am currently studying Italian with the same approach. This journey has taught me discipline, consistency, and perseverance.
I consider myself a dynamic and enthusiastic person, always seeking new ways to transmit knowledge and spark interest in my students.

For much of my training, I used the grammatical approach, which focuses on memorizing the parts of a sentence, grammar rules, vocabulary, and morphosyntactic analysis. While this approach yields good results, it can be tedious if the goal is to speak the language fluently.
For the past five years, I have adopted the naturalistic method with excellent results. This method emphasizes active interaction with the language and text, allowing students to intuitively discover grammatical rules rather than learning them analytically.
Just like in the acquisition of a mother tongue, the language is first acquired and assimilated, with morphosyntactic analysis coming later.
I will guide you through the process of improving your pronunciation and fluency in both reading and writing. We will use resources such as videos, readings, and songs to facilitate learning.
