I'm a linguist with a deep passion for the Spanish language. I’ve been speaking Spanish since I was a kid, and I’ve had the amazing opportunity to live in both Argentina and Spain, soaking up the rich diversity of the language and cultures. Now, I’m excited to share that passion with you and help you on your journey to becoming confident in Spanish!
My teaching style:
I believe learning a language should be both effective and enjoyable. My classes are structured but highly interactive—you’ll be speaking, listening and using Spanish from the very first lesson. I focus on real-world situations and authentic materials like videos, articles and even music, to make sure you’re not just learning textbook Spanish but the vibrant, living language you’ll hear in everyday conversations.
As a linguist, I’m also very keen on helping you understand how the language works. But don’t worry—grammar won’t be boring! I break it down into practical chunks that you can easily apply while speaking.
What a typical class looks like:
Every class starts with a quick review, followed by activities that are tailored to your needs. One day, we might be practising how to navigate a conversation in a Spanish café, and the next, we could be perfecting your grammar for a business email. I also make sure to include a lot of speaking practice, where you’ll get personalised feedback to help you progress quickly.
What makes me stand out as a teacher:
First and foremost, I’m not just your teacher—I’m your language partner. I’m here to guide you, support you and make sure you feel comfortable while learning. Having lived in different Spanish-speaking countries, I bring a broad understanding of regional differences, so you’ll get to learn not just the language but the culture behind it. I’m also patient and flexible—we’ll go at your pace, focusing on your individual goals, whether it’s conversation, exam prep, or just brushing up on your skills.
