Acerca de Jason
Soy un profesor nativo de inglés y lingüística bien cualificado y con experiencia. Preparo todos los exámenes de inglés con reconocimiento como: Cambridge, EOI, TOEFL, IELTS y Trinity (desde nivel B1 a nivel C2). Además, ofrezco clases para aquellos que quieran mejorar su inglés en un contexto más general y conversacional o por motivos de negocios.
Mis clases son individuales o en pequeños grupos tanto en Valencia, como en España o internacionalmente (online). Uso la función “compartir pantalla” así que las clases son exactamente iguales a estar sentado en tu casa con el profesor al lado.
El precio son 13 euros por hora y por estudiante lo cual incluye también una gran cantidad de material adicional de estudio (que encontrarás en mi Dropbox) para seguir trabajando fuera de clase.

With respect to the methodology. firstly, in the first lesson I provide you with lots of study materials appropriate for your level. This will include an exam book from which you will produce 1 written composition every week (review, report, essay, email etc) and you will be asked to include the grammar and vocabualry from the previous lesson, so you have real active learning.
Secondly, you will read an article every week at your level and you will learn the vocabulary from it, and then in the lesson there will be a test on the vocabulary from the article. In this way you will have the vocabulary in context which is much better than learning from a list.
Thirdly is the grammar. As I said I will provide you with grammar books so you will do exercies for homework, but in class we will study one of my grammar lessons which are an abridged and generally better explained version of the material.
Fourthly we will do an array of language manipluation exercises of paraphrasing, using prefixes, collocations and so on to develop your language a little more laterally and put into practice what we have learned in the lesson
Finally, I always find a good selection of topics for discussion each week on the web, so we can have a period of conversation practice and work on your pronunciation. I have a clear Oxford English accent so you will benefit from this. We might also watch a quick Youtube video too as discussion material
