Hi, I’m Laura, a qualified Primary Education teacher with a specialisation in Physical Education and training in active methodologies like Montessori. I’ve been working with children and young people for over six years in schools, sports activities and nature-based learning projects. I now offer private Spanish lessons for all levels in Dublin. My lessons are designed to be positive, relaxed, and effective. I believe in respectful, motivating teaching where the student feels comfortable and confident from the very first moment. I use visual materials, games, speaking activities and real-life situations to make learning Spanish feel natural—especially helpful for beginners and for those wanting to improve their conversation skills. I carefully plan each lesson with care and attention, tailoring it to each person’s rhythm, interests, and goals. Whether you’re a child, a teenager or an adult, I’ll help you improve your Spanish in a warm, organised and professional environment. My Way of Teaching Spanish As a qualified Primary Education teacher and native Spanish speaker, I offer lessons adapted to the needs and pace of each student. I love teaching with closeness, patience, respect, and enthusiasm, creating a trusting environment where learning feels natural and motivating. I work with active methodologies, including visual activities, games, songs, and real conversations, especially helpful for children or beginners. I also incorporate resources such as stories, flashcards, hands-on activities, and small routines so that the language is learned in a lively, not mechanical, way. What Are My Classes Like? Classes are personalized and can be adapted according to the student’s goals (improving conversation, starting from zero, school support, travel preparation, etc.). An example beginner class could include: Start – greeting, brief review, a small activity to activate vocabulary. Topic of the day – introduction of new vocabulary or grammar (with visual aids and examples). Active practice – games, guided conversation, role play, or activities to use what was learned. Closing – review, feedback, and suggestions for continued learning during the week. Who Are My Classes For? My classes are aimed at: Children who want to learn Spanish through play or reinforce what they’ve learned at school. Adult beginners who want to start from scratch with a practical and communicative approach. People wanting to improve their speaking and listening skills through real conversations. I can also prepare specific materials tailored to individual needs (travel, work, etc.). What Makes Me Different? I am a warm, cheerful, and creative teacher with experience in early childhood and primary education, trained in respectful pedagogies such as Montessori. I like my students to enjoy the learning process, making it something motivating rather than forced.
