My approach to teaching is flexible and adaptable depending on the specific student. First of all, it is important for me to get to know my student and make my student feel comfortable enough with me to increase their confidence. For individual lessons, I often use the discussion-based and demonstration learning methods. The discussion-based method allows my students to have the freedom to speak about what they want to improve their natural conversational skills, whereas the demonstration learning method allows me to show how something is done or said followed by student practice. I have many lesson plans in my arsenal, both with and without technology. With younger kids, I like to include educational games to make them very interested and motivated to learn what they are learning. With adults, I have plenty of educational PowerPoints that facilitate lessons and make them more enjoyable. Some unique characteristics about me as a teacher are that I am able to make any student feel comfortable speaking about any type of topic they prefer, that I have a great accent that is easily understood by my learners and that I am comfortable with all types of people. My classes are aimed at any student because I have plenty of experience teaching English at every level (A1-C2) between all ages and types of people.
