Very good at explaining things from first principles. Very polite, too. Many maths tutors can make the student feel stupid for not knowing something, but Andrei is certainly not that. Highly recommended.

I've known Andrei for many years, since he was a student at Harvard. I highly recommend him as a teacher – Andrei has always been amazing at explaining concepts, from the simplest to the most complicated. Furthermore, I was impressed at his understanding and deep passion for statistics and for research topics that relate to stats. We established a really good work rhythm, and our meetings were efficient, since Andrei always focused on approaching the problems that posed the greatest difficulty first. I really enjoyed our lessons, which I believe is mostly because I felt relaxed, yet also serious and encouraged to work.
