As a teacher, I am very passionate about what I do and I can honestly say that I have had nothing but good remarks from my students about my teaching style. I believe this is because I vehemently believe that anyone can learn a foreign language with the right motivation and effort. I know this because I have helped over a hundred people learn how to speak both English and Spanish. Having acquired multiple languages has helped me deeply understand specifically why students make certain mistakes and how I can help them learn best by awakening a spark of natural curiosity.
In my first year in Turkey, I was able to learn Turkish fluently in 3 months without any prior knowledge of the language, although admittedly I am still learning. I was able to take the knowledge of the language and directly put this into use in the classroom, helping them understand English prosody, syntax, grammar, pronunciation, and intonation with explanations in English and Turkish. Both parents and students have told me that they have never had an English teacher quite like me. I thank you in advance for your time and careful consideration, and I look forward to hearing from you.
