I am Steven McCarron. I am thirty-five years old, and I was born in a city called Derry, in Northern Ireland! I have lived for most of my life in Scotland, however. Recently I moved to Tarragona and will be teaching conversational English for the time being! I am passionate about speaking English and love to correct the mistakes of others and help them to feel more confident in speaking English conversationally with others.

We will have regular, normal conversations in English about any subjects you wish. I will give moment by moment correction of your mistakes intuitively to help you speak better conversational English. Some common mistakes are making what is referred to as a 'faux-pas' (which is actually a French term), this is when you might say something that is socially impolite or that some people may find rude. Another common mistake is to pronounce the 'ed' in words like 'walked', 'talked', or to add an extra 'ed' to words like 'read' so as not to say 'readed', like "I readed a book". Simple enough mistakes to make, but if you want to master your English, you will have to correct these simple mistakes.
