Matheus has been great for my daughter, her guitar skills have improved and appreciates that he finds songs that she both enjoys and teaches the technique she is needing.

Absolutely brilliant. Matheus has a way of explaining that really hits home for me, and i know i need a lot of patience with theory.
100% recommend.
Thanks a lot bro, you're a great teacher and now a great friend.

Matheus is such a great person, empathetic and has an extra eye on details. I got to know him professionally during his Europe tour - Cologne-, music projects, but also as a great flatmate during a couple of days.
I know he is very dedicated into what he loves and would recommend anyone who is interested in his skills. Hence, beyond that, who’s interested in sharing the same passion for the strings and sounds.

Matheus is hands down the best guitar teacher I've ever had. He takes time to understand his students' needs and build a plan of action. He does more than teach guitar; he teaches you how to learn. My lessons with Matheus made my time in Barcelona all the more special. There's no real alternative to face-to-face lessons, so I was grateful to have such a great teacher while abroad. If you're thinking about taking lessons with him, I can't recommend him enough.

I highly recommend Matheus!
I heard about Matheus through a friend. From the first lesson I found him to be really understanding, patient and knowledgeable. He always set me productive and creative homework which really helped me to develop. Aside from that we talked a lot about our favourite guitarists and inspirations which made the lessons way more fun and interesting. We then looked at how we could incorporate the elements of our favourite players into our own playing. Which specific skills can we take from them and learn and apply to our own.

Then in my case, I was mostly going to be playing alone rather than in a band. So Matheus helped me figure out how to compose more interesting songs, using the caged system in a way I’d never thought or heard of before, which resulted in a really cool piece I now use in my gigs. I now use that same practice and apply it when I’m learning a new song to see how I can make it more interesting for the listener, rather than just the accompanying chords.

I’ve found his lessons to be extremely valuable and also a lot of fun and rewarding, I can see the he is excellent at adapting his teaching style to suit any individual

Matheus is a top-notch teacher who has a great way of breaking things down to make them digestible. He listens to understand your goals and makes a custom plan to get there.

Highly recommend!
