Acerca de Irene
My bachelor is Translation and Interpreting (English and French). I understood very early that I liked teaching and then studied my masters of Linguistics applied to teaching Spanish as a foreign language.
I have taught Spanish in France, Germany, India, Russia and Spain. I have experience with very different students, schools, methods and materials. I’ve been a Spanish teacher for the last 15 years, both in schools and online and have very different students wanting very different things (travel to Spain or South America, pass an exam like DELE or in the university, learn general Spanish, improve their speaking skills…you name it!).
I really enjoy working with people and helping them with one of the things I like the most: my language!

Do you want to travel or live in Spain and feel confident? Do you have some trouble speaking and would like to work on your fluency? Are you preparing DELE or SIELE? You always wanted to learn Spanish and have decided that the time might be just now? I can help you! Some of my students were also in the same place as you.
I follow mainly a communicative approach though the goal pursued by the student is what defines the final design of the class. I´ll try that you talk from the very beginning of our classes with affordable exercises, adapted to your level. I think it is very important for students to feel comfortable and safe.
I have a vast experience with very different students, schools and methods so I know how to adapt my classes to what you want and need. I like learning about my students′ personal interests so we can use them in the learning process. This way what we do and talk about make sense and is important for you.
I also speak English, French, German and Russian. I can explain in your mother tongue if necessary although my goal will be to speak Spanish from the very beginning.
I can use my expertise with languages to help you learn Spanish. Let me know about you.
