Acerca de GUSTAVO

Soy actor desde los 15 años. Actuar es mi trabajo y también mi filosofía de vida. ¿Por qué? Porque me ha dado la oportunidad de redescubrir la escucha, la empatía, la gestión emocional y del miedo, la conciencia de mis tensiones y las herramientas para soltarlas. Actuando como estudio del ser humano y proyección hacia una vida equilibrada y feliz.

Acerca de la clase

Emociones y relaciones en la vida y el teatro. Esta frase podría resumir mi forma de entender y enseñar a actuar. A partir de ejercicios sensoriales nos descubrimos a nosotros mismos y al mundo, despertando nuestras emociones y ofreciendo lo que somos en el momento en que estamos. Siempre teniendo en cuenta que nuestro desarrollo en el escenario del teatro y de la vida se vive a través del disfrute y el cuidado de uno mismo.

When did you start practicing? How did this passion find you?
When I was fifteen years old. I had a school subject called "Art" and in the second semester we were supposed to shoot a short film. We did it and I fell in love with it!
Which artists or works affect you the most?
Paul Newman, Robert de Niro, Leonardo di Caprio, James Mcavoy, Jake Gyllenhaal.
What are the qualities and skills required to succeed in this area?
Patience, Resilience, Perseverance. Learning from yourself everyday. Accepting, respecting and taking care of your heart, mind and soul.
What is the most valuable advice you can give to help someone stay focused on creative projects?
Take the process like if you were in an adventure. Find the joy in whatever you do. Be a kid.
How would you describe your passion; how does it make you feel?
Acting is living consciously. It gives me the chance to be connected with myself, and being connected with who you are and what you need is HAPPINESS.
What creative achievements are you particularly proud of?
I am especially proud of my work in the TV show "Apaches" for Netflix playing the main character of the series.
Have you ever been surprised by a student; by their ability or quick progression?
Every single class there is a lesson or note that I take from a student. They know much more than they believe and when there is one of these moments of realization it's wonderful to be present with them.
